I grew up in the heaven on earth known as Albany, New York. I currently live in NYC, and have been performing stand-up comedy since the fall of 2002, or a little earlier or later. I honestly can't remember. (I'm supposed to remember this sort of thing, aren't I?) I've been writing a lot longer. Before that, I almost went to art school. And before that, I acted the fool nearly each and every day. I perform at stand-up comedy shows and readings all over NYC, and beyond, and have appeared on the 2005 season of Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and at the 2006 HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, CO. (Daily Variety - March 8th, 2006) My writing has been published in Salon, The Onion, Modern Humorist, Glamour, TimeOut NY & Chicago, HEEB Magazine, Esquire, and The Morning News (where I am a staff writer), among other places. For 3+ years I co-hosted and co-produced a popular monthly comedy reading series in NYC, called HOW TO KICK PEOPLE, which was featured in Gothamist.com, the NY Post, and the NY Observer, and was a regular "Don't Miss" pick in TimeOut Magazine and Flavorpill. When I have something to complain about, I write on my own site, tremble.com. And I will not say this again: I AM NOT A ROLE MODEL. For bookings or press, please see my contact page. |
